Sage's wooden desk has a sunbeam streaking across it. There are three hanks of yarn from Ritual Dyes in Portland, OR, USA. The winter sun is low on the horizon, casting gaint shadows.

Why yes, I do have a cataloguing method for my hand-dyed yarn stash.

I haven't had to create a database yet, but... I might be heading in that direction...


Between the new yarn hanks are rows and rows of embroidery cards with similar color pallets. Each embroidery floss card is labeled with the dyer name, color name, and (where I remember) which yarn shop I bought it from and where the yarn shop is located. Some floss cards are labeled as "Terri Oda's stash" to indicate the yarn was donated from a friend's yarn stash.
