Hey! I'm looking to start an itch.io game bundle for queer game developers. Your game doesn't have to be about being trans or queer or even feature queer characters. I want to start the bundle for the main purpose of raising money for queer people that need it.

Your game can be really weird! Your game can be unfinished! It can be long or short! I want to not only raise money for developers like us, but I want to get eyes on our little or big projects. I'm aiming to have the bundle run for two weeks in May starting on the 17th!

There will be no tiers and money will be distributed equally amongst the developers. I want to help support developers like myself that are often overlooked by people. Not all of us have the time or money to make a long game or even a complete game, but I want to get us more money to hopefully feel securer in life each year and maybe give us more resources for our passion projects, or more importantly, things like food!

If you're interested feel free to reply here and I'll DM you!

edit: I just realized I can edit this to notify everyone at once. If you're interested, please check out this poll! I'd like to have everyone organized for communications!

edit 2: there is concern over the date, tell me what you think!

Edit 3

Don’t think it’s necessary here, but cannot stress enough that I don’t want submissions made with “AI” or work that is clearly hateful i.e. racist. I will turn submissions like this away.

I also want to say if you hate the idea of both of those, please let me know a preferred contact method! I'll just make a spreadsheet of everyone if it comes down to it.

I thought May 17th would be neat since it's the international day against homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia, but there is concern of it running too close to the "queer games bundle." I'm not really bothered by that personally since most people get paid biweekly, but I'm willing to explore "sometime in september" as an option.

@ruby I only voted September because I've kinda put my game projects on hold until I finish other project

but I think it should happen earlier if there are people who want it
