Building an app 12-factor style (i.e. 12factor.net) has continued to pay dividends for 12 years and counting.
I built https://vmsave.petekeen.net in 2013 as a #Rails 3 app running on Heroku. Today I will be migrating it into my #Kubernetes cluster as a Rails 7 app. Along the way I've deployed it in a number of different ways, but the overall structure hasn't really changed since day 1.
