@amcooper@toot.catDude in my TL saying Canadians who wish to visit USA should do so by air because #CBP can bar you from getting on the plane but not detain you.
Do people not understand that there’s no magic mechanism to evade the profit maximization of CBP’s private prisons? Why wouldn’t they let you in USA solely for the purpose of not letting you out? Especially when that means money in some oligarch’s pocket?
IANAL but if you are not a citizen, don’t come to USA. If you are a naturalized citizen, don’t try to cross the border if you can at all help it.
