D Dino @garbados

the actual reason i use a tiling window manager is so nobody but me will know how to operate my computer.

@garbados this is how I felt when I was using Emacs as my WM. It was glorious.

@garbados it. is. glorious.

Someone wrote a hook for emacs lisp that taps into X and it turns your emacs session into a tiling WM. It handles fairly well, with virtual workspaces and everything. The only thing that was iffy was copy and paste.

@theZacAttacks the eternal mess of The Clipboard šŸ˜‚

that sounds wild. i don't know crap about emacs but holy wow. that just. i'm blown away. heck.

@garbados yeah Ctrl+C/V clashed with the emacs Ctrl+W/Y for doing so and it was always a toss-up over which one would work 🤷

I have also planning to use i3, but My computer usage is not that compliant for tiling vm. If I'd be doing more sysadmin/coding work, then maybe

@garbados I might use this as my excuse for remapping capslock to control :)
