thanks to @civodul for hinting that I should take a closer look at the new Shepherd website to find that the example carousel is a Hoot program!

@dthompson It’s really a ghost track that probably few people saw, in part because apparently it only works with a recent LibreWolf/Firefox (IceCat is too old, and for some reason it doesn’t work in ungoogled-chromium).

It was a fun hack though, and the #Haunt + #Hoot integration was an added bonus. :-)

@civodul @dthompson Also doesn't works in WebKitGTK 2.46.3:

[Log] Failed to compile Web Assembly code from Hoot. Disappointing, but that's okay! (start.js, line 39)

Is

git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/shep

not available for inspection?

I get a 502 error when trying to access it.

Just wanted to see how Hoot was being used in the website.

Thanks! afm

@monkey1 It’s definitely available; perhaps the Git server was temporarily down?

@civodul

so it is. Thanks for checking!

I am playing with #Hoot, so the more examples the better.
