Stewart X Addison<p>I wouldn't have thought that <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Windows" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Windows</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/security" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>security</span></a> would make it quite so easy to bypass an access issue ... Can't rename a file with the windows commands, but doing it with <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/cygwin" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>cygwin</span></a>'s mv succeeds ...</p>

It's like reverse-WINE. (Of course, it does help that Windows has a (probably badly implemented and somewhat cursed) POSIX layer.)</p>

Aral Balkan<p>Back on getting sync working on Windows in Site.js.
