Anyone got links and other sources to recommend for #Arduino and other devices for #musicians and general #DIY #synth?
I got some links, but I don't know everything so #shared #knowledge would be great.
@LottieVixen oh, I meant more like how to get started with the whole topic. I like to make and break stuff, but my band/music project is on a hold for a couple of years now. Trying to get back in, tempted to try out new styles and devices and what's out there now.
@ng0 ohhhh I have no idea sorry but I hope you find something!!
@LottieVixen Okay, thanks anyway :)
It's a bit difficult to break out of some mindsets. Like I've played drone/doom like music straight into an Amps together with a drummer. Now I don't have a rehearsal space anymore, last time I had one was maybe 5 years ago. I've tried a PODHD500 but it doesn't *feel* right for me with coming from tube amps. But it's all illusion and believe systems where "tube is better than digital" etc..
@ng0 ahhhh I have played nothing but electric guitar for a few months and sax years ago
@LottieVixen there's http://brentedstrom.com/portfolio_page/arduino-for-musicians/ and recently I found something about abstract and generated music.
@LottieVixen my ideas of where my sound developed to changed over the last years, but I'm still stuck on old ideas. It goes more in the direction of using/combining these 7 string low tuned guitars with sampled drums, modified synths and contact microphones and so forth..
@ng0 dx.com is great for cheap gear for testing stuff!
