is there a quick solution for the problem that publishing automatic tarballs of past commits (for example commits of upstream software branch) under "NAMEOFREPOSITORY"-tagversion".ext"? I'd keep it separated in names if possible, even if I won't use cgit for distribution.

I'd be okay with modifying cgit if there's no way around it. it's just visually weird.
