I just suddenly remembered the time when I was in college and frustrated with the books for learning C++ (required for the intro classes at the time) and I knew Java so I thought I'd write a book covering both C++ and Java. And at some point, without thinking about it, I titled a section "What Java programmers have instead of friends". I think that was roughly when I stopped writing
