mh (-), ableist language

I'm reading about ableist language and am now feeling like a terrible person.
I use all these words! But how do you express that something is crazy or stupid when you can't say "crazy" or "stupid"?!

@julia sometimes these realizations, that common elements of your lexicon have troubling baggage, remind me of sonnets: the strictures of the poetic form invite creative solutions. you will find other words, and they will be more expressive for the effort.

fwiw i tend toward “absurd”, “inane”, “preposterous”, “ridiculous”, among others
