just to reiterate, this isn't the end. the camp remains, occupiers have maintained discipline and cohesion, and their work continues. DHS plans to stay but this is our town and we will stay longer ✊

occupation tactics are long-term. develop infrastructure and hold out. occupiers were, in some sense, prepared for this.

@garbados Get a couple of police scanners and monitor the DHS and local PD tactical networks. That's what we did at Occupy DC, and it's how we kept tabs on their plans.

@garbados the Bundy inanity (and lack of any sort of response) is the bar I measure everything against, bluntly and verbally, when people start trying to claim ICE is fair or balanced in any way.

If the Bundy family had been poor non-white squatters trying to survive a hard winter, they would have been slaughtered within hours of going pubic with it.

And that...is why we need to not just abolish ICE, but rip the systems of power to shreds that made it possible.
