"She's called Nytestar," said the young witch, taking care to pronounce the 'Y'. Her small black familiar purred, half asleep.
"Frostleaf," introduced another witch, scratching the chin of of her silvery white companion, green eyes bright and coy.
"Where's your's, little sister," the first asked the newest and youngest member of their coven.
She shyly pointed out the window.
"Hello," said her towering sphinx, "I'm called Mya."
Pretty impressive to see Twitter's CEO explain how awesome the fediverse is without once mentioning the fediverse. Is this some kind of Oulipo-like game? https://twitter.com/jack/status/1204766078468911106
I showed this list to the shop staff when I returned it and they didn't argue...
Glitchy - onscreen keyboard just stopped appearing for a while, even after reboot
System tray disappeared until reboot
Flickers between laptop and tablet mode when keyboard is folded back
Android apps have sides missing in split view
Apps go back to full screen as soon as you switch away from split view
Android Steam Link app can’t see Bluetooth Steam controller
I bought this to run Linux apps on a tablet but the onscreen keyboard doesn’t support Linux apps “yet”
Keyboard has no arrow keys or ctrl for use in terminal
Touchscreen scrolling crashes Firefox for Linux
Can’t install Steam for Linux at all since latest update
I bought a Pixel Slate over the weekend - it was on a bundle deal with the tablet and keyboard at half the price of the Surface Pro or iPad Pro. And it runs Linux software!
I returned it today because the performance might have improved since the early reviews, but the software is glitchy as hell and the Linux support is shit.
Disappointing, because I can't afford anything else with those kinds of specs.
my tax system is simple: it's called the Blue Shell method. At the end of every day, we fuckin blow up the richest person and redistribute their wealth, until there's no more billionaires.
Sure, we could axe all the billionaires all at once, but I like imagining what they'd do to each other as they scrambled to duck out of first place.
Bonus photo of us actually smiling
I installed Ubuntu 19.04 on my server and file transfers went up to 109MB/s and smbd only uses 70% of a cpu core. Which still seems pretty high tbh, but I think it is at least using AES-NI now.
