is it weird to like a game that you are so very bad at? Ikaruga is one of my favorite games of all time and I cannot come close to beating it on default settings (normal difficulty, 3 lives, no continues).


like, a *really* good run for me is making it to the stage 3 midboss without having to continue.

@dthompson I do this with Pixel Dungeon. Four years I've played it, but not a single win. Can't tell if it's bad luck or bad strategy.

@kk @dthompson I've been playing Angband for 20 years without a legitimate win.
@kk @dthompson Not twenty solid years, of course. But I first discovered roguelikes in college.

@kk I've never beaten that game, either. it's really good, though!
