In non-political news: I look up a lot of stuff that is pickle-related. My son and his friends like pickle-themed novelties. I have bought socks, stickers, erasers, buttons, and stress squeezies. I have considered pens, pencils, plushies, and other fairly tame stuff. Phrases like "Dill with it" and "Kind of a big dill" are common.
This has been going on for years. If he had just come up with it now, I'd probably think it was a dong joke, but I don't think that's how it started (I fully expect it to morph now that he's going into the Jr. High School).
Anyway.
I get that there is a lot of ad tracking online. But dang it, if you're going to track me, can you do it correctly?
This ad showed up today and they missed the mark. I AM looking for pickle merch. I am NOT in the market for pickle-themed men's underwear, and certainly not in this design! This is NOT what we mean when we're looking for "kind of a big dill" pickle-themed party favors.
The Husband had a good chuckle at my dismay and I threatened him to shut it or he'd be unwrapping these on Christmas Day, preferably in front of his mother.
